LUPE! I NEEDZ TEH HELP!
I want to save an image on GIMP with its layers and not have to merge the image. No matter what I do, it always asks me to flatten because JPEG or PNG or whatever can't handle transparency. Do you know how to save without merging?

I always work on something and I wanna finish it later but when it flattens I cant work with the layers anymore xc

Know any good tutorials with layers?

If you have a picture your working on with layers, make sure you save as a xcf.file.
If you save it as a png or gif jpg, it will come out merged.
If you are done with the pciture, make sure to save it as a png fil though, it has better quality.
Make sure the file is saved a xcf, k?
